Adrien MARCOS

BIOGRAPHY

Adrien Marcos is a contemporary French artist born in Montpellier in 1991. He became passionate about art and design from an early age. He chose to study electronics and solid mechanics, and moved to Paris after graduating. There, he shared an artist studio and forged his artistic identity during a year of research, combining mechanics, light and matter.

In 2014, he created his first collection: “Triangle”. A symbol of stability, this first series of architectural works underlines his taste for design.

In the French capital, he took part in various exhibitions and found representation from several galleries. In 2017, he left Paris to settle down in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in search of new inspirations. He immediately became fascinated with the world of yachting and created "Quazar" and "Path of Dreams", which design was inspired by the curves and silhouette of the yachts he observed. These pieces of prestige will be part of his new “Yacht Collection” series.

TECHNIQUE

Our thoughts, emotions and feelings influence the structure of water molecules in our body. This is how Adrien Marcos creates therapeutic sculptures, thanks to the diffusion of words and messages coded in luminous binary language. Their shape and design vary according to his inspiration but his artistic approach remains the same: to spread light messages that influence our cells and our mind... Messages like love, peace, compassion.
