Bianca KMIEC

BIOGRAPHY

Bianca Kmiec was born in Redwood City, California, in 1998, and lived in Northern California most of her life. Currently residing in Florida, she started her art practice in 2020, after leaving the modeling careeer she started when she was 13 years old. Painting, art, and playing music (piano) has always moved Bianca, and she decided that making artwork was more important to fulfill her life’s purpose and a way to give back to the world.

TECHNIQUE

Working with resin, most of her paintings’ subject of inspiration comes from being spiritual. God, angels, music, or the beauty from within and all around inspire her work. She is influenced by Renaissance art, incorporating colors that express the magnificent beauty from that era into her palette. Gold is always a staple in her artworks, representing what can be found in churches, architecture, and other important icons from the Renaissance and other centuries - “a pigment that could embody celestial heavenly light, or the Holy Spirit.” Nature has also played a big part in her works as she grew up around diverse wildlife and was involved in the equestrian from a very young age.
